The story of Sri Annamalai Swami and Bhagavan is one of the best examples of a Guru-Sishya (disciple) relationship, where the disciple surrenders to the Guru with total unconditional love and the Guru protects and nurtures the disciple with even greater love until his individuality has dissolved and he realises his true nature.
This new edition of ‘Living by the Words of Bhagavan’ has a few changes. We have fine-tuned the Tamil-to-English translation where needed. Authorship of the book has been reattributed to Sri Annamalai Swami. It is his own narration of how he lived by the words of Bhagavan. A new chapter has been added detailing the later years of Sri Annamalai Swami until his Mahā-samādhi. The ‘Diary’ chapter has been removed since a more detailed version of it has already been published by Sri Satguru Annamalai Swamigal Spiritual Trust under the title ‘Nectar Drops’. The ‘Conversations’ chapter has been removed and is being published as a new book soon.
Sri Annamalai Swami’s life is a great example for all sincere seekers of the Truth. His narration of his life with Bhagavan in the form of this book is a great spiritual treasure. We request all devotees to get this book and receive the blessings of Sri Bhagavan and Annamalai Swami and progress in their sadhana towards enlightenment.
THE GRACEFUL PHOTOS OF BHAGAVAN AND ANNAMALAI SWAMI ARE SENT HERE WITH THEIR BLESSINGS FOR YOU.
May the grace of the divine protect you and your whole blessed family from everywhere.
Yours in Sri Bhagavan,
Sundaram Swami

Video Release - Songs and Ramana Vazhi
Sri Mahaprabu continued his recording of Ramana Geetham songs and Ramana Vazhi Chapter 2
From the heart of Sri Sadhu Om Swamigal, in the holy voice of Sri Mahaprabu came two more songs – Thannai Unarvadhu Jnanam (Knowing oneself is Jnana) and Vododum Nenjam Oyadho (Won’t my wandering mind rest) – both songs from the book ‘Sri Ramana Geetham.’
The same day, Sri Mahaprabu also read Chapter 2 of Ramana Vazhi, titled ‘Yedhu Sugam’ or ‘What is Happiness?’ On a few occasions Sri Mahaprabu has shared with us how much this book Ramana Vazhi, The Path of Ramana had on him during his Saadhana days. How much impact it had on his progress towards enlightenment. In his reading of this essay, one can feel this.
Sri Sadhu Om was a poet, author, and direct disciple of Ramana Maharshi. He is the author of Sri Ramana Geetham, a divine collection of poems and songs about his Guru, Sri Ramana Maharshi. These recordings are a dedication to Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi and Sri Sadhu Om, by Sri Mahaprabu, a Brahma Jnani who attained Liberation in 2003 by the Grace of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. We hope you enjoy listening to them. English readings are also being planned.
In his Satsangs, Sri Mahaprabu frequently invokes the grace of Sri Sadhu Om, by singing his songs with such divine fervour and by his passionate reading of essays from Sri Ramana Vazhi, a book that inspired him tremendously in his own sadhana days. He even named the room where he conducts Satsangs in Paliapattu (just 8 KM from Ramanashramam) as ‘Sadhu Om hall’ from its very inception.
Our sincere gratitude to Arunachalaramana Book Trust for their kind permission to publish the singing of Sri Sadhu Om’s songs and the reading of his book Ramana Vazhi.

New Book Released
Nectar Drops - The Diary of Sri Satguru Annamalai Swamigal
We are delighted to share with you the news about our latest publication. Nectar Drops is the English translation of a diary and two other notebooks that Sri Annamalai Swami filled with precious notes of his and other devotees’ interactions with Sri Bhagavan. These notes were taken in the years 1938 and 1939 when Sri Annamalai Swami was 32 years old. His questions to Bhagavan, such as “How is a child different from a Jnani?”, “What is the difference between meditating with eyes open versus closed?”, “Can I practice Sahaja Samadhi right from the beginning?”, and “When I meditate, the prana gets suspended in the stomach. Is that good?” reveal an already mature state of mind.
Sri Bhagavan’s lucid responses to these questions were written down verbatim by the young Annamalai Swami. Seekers around the world are now blessed with the opportunity to read, reflect and practice the teachings that this diary abounds with. Immersing oneself in this book will effortlessly transport the reader to the very room where these divine conversations transpired. This book includes pages from the original diary with Sri Annamalai Swami’s handwriting as well as selected photos of Sri Annamalai Swami. A special treat for readers is the page from the diary in which Bhagavan himself wrote in his beautiful print-like hand, a verse on the practice of Advaita.
